"Mostly, I work as an independent drawer of pictures. In my head, I consider myself something of a visual researcher: a passenger of the world. My work is site-specific, existing as a reflection of my own process to stabilize where I am. The process becomes an accumulation of location and emotion; what is around and what my mind is focused on at that moment. Recycling from the environment is my speciality, whether it is images, materials, or human compassion.
I was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. After working for several years around the States I was able to attend the New School in NYC, where I graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts and a minor in Urban Studies. My time at the New School enabled me much experimentation; illustration, urban planning, documentary media, anthropology, etc.
Since graduating in 2019, I have left the US, and have been applying myself to other parts of the world to see what resonates with me.
To produce art is my emotional practice: to achieve balance, to integrate, and to connect with the world.”
