"These pieces are informed and were initiated in response to the world of Adirondack and Catskills artistic sculptural traditions that I rediscovered when moving to the Hudson valley. The traditional pieces typically pictorialize nature or historical figures of a certain identity. My chief interest was to filter views of a group of Artistic legends through the material methods of pine, plywood, nails and glue. As the pieces each came together they informed the other pieces like artists contemporary to each other. I hope the viewer feels as if they are in an Absinthe cocktail party with these luminaries at some perfect Paris dive bar."

Drew is an award winning production designer. He is known for his work on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), Deja Vu (2006) and The Man in the High Castle (2015). He has been nominated mulitple times for the Emmy Awards, and by the Art Directors Guild.
